I've taken Masood my alterations for several years now because I've always been very pleased with his work. Now I've followed Masood to his own shop (The Final Stitch). I am very particular about how my clothes fit, and have finally found a tailor who understands the importance of being a perfectionist. Masood takes no short cuts and I know that each alteration job gets his individual and personal attention. The real test for me was bringing him my favorite lined trench coat, which I had bought last year one size too large. He reconstructed the coat so that it fits me perfectly throughout, as though I'd purchased the smaller size to begin with! It's like a completely new coat which fits me perfectly.

Masood is not just a tailor, he repaired our ancient Navajo rug not only with the perfect use of his craft but also with such excellent taste an insight that we can now enjoy a piece of art that one can only find in museums. My wedding dress was custom made through a shop in Phoenix. Although it mostly fit very well, I felt like I kept tripping on the hem. Not long before my wedding I brought it in to Final Stitch for an assessment. Masood agreed and took off over an inch. The turn around was great (I think I paid a reasonable rush fee due to bringing it in with not many days to spare). The dress looked great and I didn't think about it once during the ceremony, first dance, etc., (even when I switched shoes!). I have also brought "regular" clothes for alterations with good success. Highly recommend!

Best alteration shop in town! They altered a formal dress for a black tie event I needed to attend. The alterations were perfect. Would definitely come here again in the future.

I've been bringing my clothing to Final Stitch for several years now. I've had trousers altered in hem, waist, and seat, and the work has been outstanding. On my first visit, I was impressed with being asked what kind of break I wanted and the recommendation to angle the hem to where it was slightly longer in back. Highly recommended.

I’m fortunate that Final Stitch is not only the closest tailor for us but also the best we’ve tried in Albuquerque. The proprietor is always friendly, knows us by name, and seems to be a master at his trade. I’ve never had to go back to have something redone. Is he fast? Nope. He takes exactly as much time as required but not a minute more. Good work takes time. You want to fastest and cheapest, go elsewhere. You want high quality work that’s worth ever penny? Go to Final Stitch.

I went here for the first time and this place is great!! I brought in a kilt that had a pleat coming apart. I brought the kilt in on a Monday and was told the work would be completed on Wednesday. I picked it up today (Thursday) and was thoroughly surprised at how beautiful the kilt looked. I brought it in before ironing it and when I picked it up there were no wrinkles. Wonderful Customer Service!!!! I will return!!

Not only was I able to be helped same day, but the owner even graciously gave a few suggestions on alterations which made all the difference. If I could give 6 stars I would. Lived here 30 years, hands down best tailoring in town. I entrusted them with lined gold sequin pants and they did a great job. They recently reworked 10-15 wardrobe pieces and now my old favorites are new again. Completely professional.

Had an excellent experience with this tailor. Was in town for one day and needed pants hemmed quickly before leaving on a trip. He got me in, marked and hemmed the pants within a couple hours. It is hard to find a tailor in my home town, so I am now planning to save any alterations I need and bring them to Albuquerque!

Masood got me in and out in 10 minutes. The work was done way quicker than I expected and the work was impeccable. I had a bridesmaid dress that needed alterations and it fit me like a glove. Great experience.
